Don’t you realize what you do

The things you say break all the rules

You hurt me & you don’t even see

I thought forever friends we would be

It’s not one thing, or even two

It’s many upon many, yes it’s true

You say things to me that cut like a knife

You don’t see the pain in my life

You look past the pain and only see fun

You don’t see all the hurt in people when you’ve won

When you want understanding, you will demand

But when I’m hurt, never reaches out your hand

You leave me out like I’m the enemy

I’ve helped you through & the times are many

You take & take & never think to give

Using others is how you seem to live

Even a blind man would be able to see it

You use your gift to hurt, and it’s your wit

You like to watch others scream and cry

To watch pain somehow makes you fly

But don’t be discouraged, I’ll be here for you

Even when you hurt me, I’ll be there to help you through
