Research Interests:
  • Geometry and Topology: cobordism theory, elliptic genera, stable homotopy theory, low-dimensional topology, field theories; Algebra; Analysis

Naeem's dissertation was titled "Cobordism Theory of Semifree Circle Actions on Complex N-Spin Manifolds." In 2006, he was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant (GTA) Academics Award by Kansas State University (KSU). He has two publications already, and gave a talk at the 2011 MAA-AMS Joint Meetings in New Orleans, LA.

While a GTA at KSU, Naeem previously taught College Algebra, Business Calculus, Calculus I, II, and III, and Differential Equations. From 2007-2011, he was hired as an Organizational GTA at KSU due to his consistently high teaching evaluations.
