Roseanne has a long teaching record. Most recently, since 2006, she taught middle school mathematics at Phillips K-8 School in the Kansas City Missouri School District (KCMSD). During 2005-2006, she taught 8th grade mathematics at Southwest Charter School (Imagine Schools) in Kansas City. Since 2005, she has been an Instructor in the Upward Bound program at UMKC, tutoring for ACT and SAT preparation, as well as teaching in the Summer Academy. Also since 2005, Roseanne has been an Adjunct Instructor teaching Pre-Teacher Education at St. Mary College in Leavenworth, KS. Lastly, from 1967-1989, she worked in KCMSD as a classroom teacher, District Mathematics Resource Teacher, and had other teaching roles.

Outside of classroom teaching, from 1997-2000 Roseanne was the Manager for Teacher Professional Development at KCPT (Kansas City Public Television), administering the PBS Mathline program, and participating in grant writing activities. During 1996-1997, she was the program manager for a $1.2 million NSF grant to the Denver Public Schools for minority students in mathematics and science. From 1990-1996, she was a Senior Research Associate with Research and Training Associates, Inc. of Overland Park, KS, working as a trainer in mathematics for State Departments of Education in the Midwest.
