David joins our mathematics team most recently from the Urban Community Leadership Academy in 2011 where he taught 7th grade mathematics and Algebra I, and previously from Don Bosco Charter High School in 2010 where he taught Algebra 1 and 2. At the same time, he has taught College Algebra and Finite Mathematics at Missouri Western State University as an Adjunct Professor. His earlier school experience includes teaching at Lincoln College Preparatory 2002-2004, Commack High School in New York 2004-2006, the Bronx High School for Law and Community Service in New York 2006-2008, and Central High School in St. Joseph, MO, 2008-2010.

David has completed additional graduate work in mathematics, and was a graduate teaching assistant at both Texas Tech Universiry in 1997 where he taught College Algebra and Calculus I with Applications, and, the University of Kansas 1999-2001, where he taught College Algebra and Business Calculus. He plays baseball in a men's wood bat league in St. Joseph, and is also a baseball umpire and basketball official. His wife just graduated from nursing school, after spending over 10 years as an accountant.
