Since I graduated with my math degree I have become a mother. I have a ten year old daughter. I went back to school at UMKC for pre-med studies and then got into Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences (KCUMB) for medical school. I graduated in 2011 with my D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine), and now I'm a surgery resident at UMKC. It's been a long road with lots of hard work, but I'm enjoying the journey!! I'm glad I got my math degree and had the opportunity to learn from you. I think the skills I learned have carried through and are applicable to everything I'm doing.
